Notes: He used the name "Holger Munk." He has written several books and essays on southern Zealand conditions. Among other things, "The horse in South Zealand through two Hunddrede years 1700-1900", "memory's bright game", "Rider peasant", "Hassel forest", "Jaegerspris Færgegård 400 years." In the Historical Society of præstø county Yearbook 1951, he has written articles "grasslands" and "Ornebjerghingsten." Source of Death Date: Leif Munksgard - August 2002. Has made a huge research work on his family in the South Zealand. Much of this material is at the Local History Archive of Oakville. Leif Munksgard / Arne Munksgard: "Year 1957, he managed to buy a land which was parceled from Uthaug. Colloquially called the high hill. With the acquisition was a piece old dirt road with willow trees. The road had previously carried out for "Damn Vænge" which had been the farm's best land. Holger got land planted with trees, the majority were spruce. Then he built a tomb, to the east, on the highest of the hill, and let the whole show frede. " |
